We believe most of you came last year, but for those who didn’t have the chance to come, we’ll let you know what Jazz Market is all about 🙂
Jazz Market is an annual event, held since 2010, by the sea -yes, it’s right next to the beach- in Taman Bhagawan Bali. It is a community based event, comprising of chill out and jazzy music, combined with traditional market feel environment. The three-day event has everything from indie Jazz performers, Indonesia’s top Jazz performers, food stalls, market shopping stalls, activity posts, and everything else you, your family and friends could possibly enjoy.
What we love about this event is the fact that it is a community based event, which main purpose is not to showcase the best musician there is, but to create a stage with Jazz music enthusiast, who breaths JAZZ!
That is why Jazz Market is always bringing Indonesia’s Indie jazzers, as well as Indonesia’s Jazz legend, every year.
So, you can imagine the variety of Jazz we’ll have in the event.
Not just good music, to accommodate it’s visitors, Jazz Market always has the best range of food selection, from snacks, traditional comfort food, to popular trending cuisine. It also has market stalls selling cute crafts, local DIY handcrafts, accessories, and many more. The entertainment doesn’t stop there, there were kids activities of all kinds! Plus, Taman Bhagawan has this huge bed of green grass, perfect for a picnic-kind-of-weekend!
Last year was another great year for Jazz Market. Rio Sidiq, Dialog Dini Hari, Kunto Aji and Raisa are some of the performers. More than 5.000 people came!!! WOW! Everything went perfect, and we had a blast!
